As a Renaissance woman trapped in the twenty-first century, Victoria believes that a checkered past is important for a truly gifted copy editor. In her career she has worked in retail, owned and operated a construction company, was employed as a private investigator, studied lay midwifery, and was a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch, an environment and lifestyle she compares unflatteringly to the court of Lucrezia Borgia. She has studied philosophy, ancient and modern history, English, Latin, Russian, French, Italian, and Spanish, and she even knows a little Yiddish. She reads or listens to audiobooks in every spare minute.

Victoria lives in the Berkshires in Massachusetts (with her son and too many cats), where she has been a full-time editor and occasional writer for over twenty years. Her editing clients have been published in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Israel. Several of Victoria’s short, humorous essays were published in the Women’s Times, her award-winning flash fiction was featured on Women on Writing, and she had an essay included in Midlife Clarity: Epiphanies from Grown-Up Girls, from Beyond Words Publishing.
